I am passionate about creating
equal opportunities for all individuals
Hello, I'm Alison
I’m a qualified counsellor with a background in Psychology, having completed my degree at the University of Southampton. My journey into counselling started from a deep interest in how we think, feel, and connect — and that interest has only grown stronger over the years.
I hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and a Counselling Skills certificate from a BACP-approved training course. I’ve also completed specialist training in online therapy, including a CPCAB-accredited Certificate in Online Counselling and additional qualifications in webcam and voice work.
This means I can offer counselling that’s not only effective in person, but also thoughtfully adapted for online sessions — so you can feel supported wherever you are.
I support individuals aged 18 and over, and I work in a way that’s grounded, respectful, and tailored to each person's unique experience. Whether you're navigating something specific or just feeling unsure of how to move forward, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Professional standards
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within their Ethical Framework for Counselling and Psychotherapy, including their guidance for working online. My membership number is 807616, and you can find out more about their standards at bacp.co.uk.
I’m also a member of the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online, membership number 489.
I take your privacy seriously. I’m fully insured for counselling work and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). I also have a GDPR policy in place — if you’d like to see a copy, feel free to drop me an email.
